Cancellation and Refund Policy

Important Notice
All bookings made through PlaySpot are final and non-refundable. Please read this policy carefully before making a booking.
1. No Cancellation Policy
PlaySpot operates on a strict No Cancellation policy. Once a booking is confirmed and payment is processed, the booking cannot be cancelled under any circumstances.
We encourage all users to carefully review the following before confirming a booking:
- Venue location and facilities
- Date and time of the booking
- Duration of the slot
- Total amount payable
- Your personal schedule and availability
2. No Refund Policy
PlaySpot maintains a strict No Refund policy. Payments made for bookings are non-refundable under all circumstances, including but not limited to:
- Change of plans or schedule conflicts
- Inability to attend the booked slot
- Late arrival or no-show
- Early departure from the venue
- Dissatisfaction with venue amenities (as described on the platform)
- Personal emergencies or unforeseen circumstances
- Weather conditions (unless venue cancels)
- Transportation or travel issues
3. Exceptions
Refunds may only be considered in the following exceptional circumstances at the sole discretion of PlaySpot:
3.1 Venue-Initiated Cancellation
If a venue cancels your booking due to reasons within their control (such as maintenance issues, double-booking errors, or facility closure), you may be eligible for:
- A full refund of the booking amount, OR
- Rescheduling to an alternative slot at the same venue (subject to availability)
3.2 Technical Failures
In case of duplicate payments or technical errors during the payment process that result in incorrect charges, we will process a refund for the excess amount upon verification.
3.3 Force Majeure
In cases of government-mandated closures, natural disasters, or other force majeure events that make it impossible for venues to operate, refunds or credits may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
4. No Rescheduling
Bookings cannot be rescheduled or transferred to a different date, time, or venue. Each booking is specific to the selected slot and cannot be modified after confirmation.
5. No-Show Policy
If you fail to arrive at the venue for your booked slot ("no-show"), you will not be entitled to any refund, credit, or rescheduling. The booking will be marked as completed, and the venue may allocate the slot to other customers.
6. For Venue Owners
Venue owners using PlaySpot's management platform should note:
- Platform subscription fees and transaction fees are non-refundable
- Monthly/annual subscription payments once made cannot be cancelled or refunded
- You may discontinue using the platform at any time, but no prorated refunds will be provided
- Any credits or promotional balances expire upon account termination
7. Refund Processing (For Eligible Cases)
In the rare cases where a refund is approved:
- Processing Time: Refunds will be initiated within 7-10 business days of approval
- Credit to Account: Refunds typically appear in your account within 10-14 business days, depending on your bank
- Refund Method: Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used
8. Acknowledgment
By making a booking through PlaySpot, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Cancellation and Refund Policy. You accept that:
- All bookings are final and binding
- No cancellations will be entertained
- No refunds will be provided except in the exceptional circumstances outlined above
- It is your responsibility to ensure accuracy of booking details before confirming
